The Course

Come join us at Bear Glen where you can play real golf... in miniature.  Here, on a course designed by Nicklaus Design, where the turf is laid by the region's premiere synthetic lawn company, Southwest Greens,  the only club you need is a putter.

Bear Glen Rules of Play

• No Metal Spikes Allowed

• Bear Glen is a Tobacco Free, Alcohol Free Environment.

• Normal USGA rules shall govern play unless otherwise noted.

• For the first putt per hole, tee off, your BALL, not necessarily your feet, must be between the two markers.

• If your ball ever passes through or comes to rest on a hole that you are not playing it is considered out of bounds.  Penalty is stroke and distance (re-play the shot from the original spot).  You may want to leave your ball marker down for reference.

• If your ball comes to rest anywhere off of the course, over the brick pavers, it is considered out of bounds.  Penalty is stroke and distance (re-play the shot from the original spot).  You may want to leave your ball marker down for reference.

• Edge of course:  For balls that come to rest near one of our walls or edging, you are allowed up to 12” free relief without improving your lie (can’t go from rough to green).

• Sand traps are considered a Yellow Stake Hazard.  This means you can choose to play out of it (no penalty stroke assessed) or bring it out of the trap in line with the hole but no closer to the hole and not on another hole and drop it for a one stroke penalty.

• Order of play:  After hole #1, order of play to start the hole, tee off, will be decided by honors (who scored the best on the previous hole [or back if tied]).  Each player will tee off and then mark their ball, proceeding play will be determined by who is furthest away from the hole is next to hit.
